Hong Kong Family History Research

If Hong Kong is the part of the world where your family history has led then please contact me - I would be happy to advise on what may or may not be possible.

From 1975 to 1995 I worked for the Royal Hong Kong Police in the field of archival records management.  My weekends and holidays were spent in the Hong Kong Colonial Cemetery recording the memorial inscriptions and burial records.

Since returning home the research has continued by sourcing HK records throughout the UK.   Lives of the British expatriates who lived in HK in the 19th. & early 20th. centuries are slowly being pieced together.

Unfortunately I am not able to advise on the highly specialised area of Chinese ancestry.
